Rockland Manufacturing Co. unveiled its patent-pending removable dump plate, which allows operators to quickly transform the side dump bucket (SDB) into a general-purpose bucket.
The SDB’s dump plate can be removed anywhere. No cutting or welding is required. The dump plate also functions as an easy-to-replace wear part, reducing the need for expensive rebuilds and increasing the total life of the side dump bucket, the company said. The SDBs are powered by a heavy-duty, dual-cushioned cylinder that provides safe, smooth and quiet operation, the company reported. The entire SDB body and dump plate is crafted from high-strength alloy plate, making it wearand abrasion-resistant.
