Hexagon Unveils AI-Powered Blast Movement Solution for Mining Operations


Hexagon has announced the global release of its AI-powered Hexagon Blast Movement Intelligence (BMI), designed to enhance the accuracy of post-blast ore delineation. Through AI integration and collaboration with Augment Technologies, the solution produces detailed block models without requiring personnel to interact with the muckpile directly, improving safety and efficiency. By centralizing data and automating the generation of Muckpile Block Models™, BMI helps mining operations maximize yield and optimize resource management.

Hexagon BMI also integrates with MinePlan Block Model Manager, a tool that streamlines data sharing and ensures accuracy in the block modeling process. This system utilizes server-based features for version control and data auditability, enhancing operational efficiency while reducing complexity in mining workflows.
