Kal Tire Partners with Haltec Group to Distribute KalPRO Tooling Globally

Kal Tire recently announced a distribution partnership with Haltec Group to make its KalPRO tooling available worldwide. Developed over nearly a decade at Kal Tire’s Innovation Centre in western Canada, KalPRO tools are designed to enhance safety and efficiency for mining tire technicians. Previously used exclusively by Kal Tire teams, these tools are now accessible to a broader market through Haltec and AME International.

The first tool available through this partnership is the KalPRO ValveShield, a magnetic valve housing designed to protect tire valve stems from debris, thereby reducing tire failure risks and increasing productivity. The KalPRO ValveShield, along with other KalPRO innovations, was showcased at MINExpo 2024, where industry professionals viewed the tools firsthand and discussed their applications with Kal Tire and Haltec representatives.
