New Tailgate for Komatsu Haulers

Philippi-Hagenbuch Inc. announced a new version of the Autogate Tailgate. The tailgate is designed with a traditional outrigger that bolts to the undercarriage. It requires no welding to the frame, allowing operators to retain Komatsu’s original OEM truck frame warranty. The tailgate’s superstructure provides stability, quality and structural integrity, the company reported. It reduces premature tailgate chain wear and roller-box maintenance. A three-year warranty comes standard in some circumstances. Originally introduced a half-century ago for Komatsu rigid frame trucks, the solution was the first commercially available tailgate.
