Gradall reported its mine scaling machines deliver appropriate scaling powerwithout wasting fuel and set new productivity standards. On either rubber tires or a crawler undercarriage, the machines leverage an axle oscillation assembly to create a stable working platform without the need for outriggers, the company reported. The telescoping, triangular boom tilts 270° or 220°. Boom tilt capability allows the operator to accurately place the bucket or prying tool for productive mine scaling, Gradall reported. The two-section boom features high-pressure, load-sensing hydraulics. Hydraulic hoses located safely inside the boom and double-boom rollers, along with other features, enable the machine to withstand the rigors of mine scaling, the company reported. The boom telescopes out up to 52 ft, 3 in. Series V models are powered by a single Volvo Penta engine that meets Stage IV, Tier 4f emissions standards.
