Impactor Design Means Less Downtime

Stedman Machine Co. reported the Grand Slam horizontal shaft impactor is designed to simplify maintenance. It allows for fast, safe rotation or removal of rotor breaker bars by a single operator, the company reported. Opening the hinged front or rear housing allows access to all areas of the crushing chamber and rotor. The operator then opens the hinged housing, removes the H-retainer, and inserts the rotor lock table to secure the rotor. The breaker bars easily slide out after removing the jack screw wedge. The ease of maintenance and parts replacement minimizes downtime and facilitates use, the company reported.
