France based, designers, manufacturers and constructors of bulk handling systems, RBL_REI, have designed and constructed a 3,5km overland belt conveyor for a mining company in Poland.
With only a narrow corridor available between the mine and the plant, RBL-REI engineered a system including a transfer point between the origin and destination of the mineral.
Within the transfer, they designed a belt deviation without motorization system to unify the two sections, which optimized the investment and provided a whole host of other benefits, including, no chute clogging and no stopping time between the two sections.
