AXXIS TITANIUM in Final Trials

South Africa’s BME reported the last generation of its AXXIS system, AXXIS TITANIUM, is in its fi nal trials and set for launch and marketing this year. The company described it as the most advanced electronic-blast initiation system on the market.

AXXIS offers faster loading, lower costs and higher productivity, the company reported. It features software for timing, two-way communication between the blasting box and detonators, high-strength downlines, and the capacity to fi re up to 500 detonators accurately at timings between 0 and 10,000 microseconds. The system fi rst launched more than three decades ago.
