Xerotech Partners with LifeSafe Technologies

Xerotech, a battery technology company have announced they are collaborating with LifeSafe Technologies, a fire safety technology business, to advance safety in their battery packs.

LifeSafe manufactures several fire safety products, but most relevant to Xerotech is the newly launched, Pre-Trauma Fluid. Their PTF is a non-conductive coolant fluid with a flash point of over 225 degrees centigrade, explicitly designed to prevent thermal runaway in Lithium-ion battery packs. Their non-corrosive dielectric fluid can help reduce heat transfer.
