BME Expands in Africa with Sustainability Focus

BME is enhancing its mining operations in Africa to boost its market presence and operational efficiency. In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the company is upgrading its manufacturing facility and forming a partnership with Ultimate Industrials to improve service delivery and competitiveness in the region. This expansion aims to address growing demand and streamline operations.

In West Africa, BME is tackling political and logistical challenges while pursuing mining projects in Mauritania, Mali, and Burkina Faso. The company say these initiatives reflects its focus on sustainability and local partnerships, aimed at strengthening BME's position and adapting to the diverse conditions across the mining sector in these regions.

“We ensure that our operations are not only efficient, but also contribute to the economic development of the region.” said Nic Dreyer, General Manager of BME Southern Africa Operations.
