Epiroc will present its latest innovations in electrified and digitalized mining at MINExpo International 2024 in Las Vegas later this month. Among the highlights will be a large-capacity mine truck with an electric driveline, the Pit Viper 271 E and SmartROC D65 BE electric surface drill rigs, designed to offer emissions-free operations and improved productivity. Epiroc will also display advancements in load and haul, including the battery-electric Scooptram ST18 SG, alongside updates on its OEM agnostic automation solutions.
Additionally, Epiroc will introduce new developments in automation, surface drilling, and safety technology, such as the Boltec E10 S ABR rock bolting rig and collision avoidance systems. The company’s innovations will also address sustainable mining practices, with solutions focused on reducing CO2 emissions and extending equipment lifecycles through remanufacturing and refurbishment.
