Metso Acquires Brouwer

Metso hopes to strengthen its automation and control capabilities with the acquisition of Brouwer, combining its experience in bulk material handling equipment and service offerings with Brouwer Engineering’s electrical and control system capabilities.

Brouwer Engineering has extensive design and development experience with all key software and hardware platforms, and delivers end-to-end solutions using all major PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms.

The acquisition is expected to be closed in August 2023.
